Here?s a list of what horror movies from 2008 got the most money, and this is the year of the Saw.
I do agree that that one year there wasn’t much competition, with “Quarantine” being a bad remake of the great “REC” and “I am legend” not being much of a horror. Mirrors was pretty good on the other hand so it’s not all bad. Mist probably rode on Stephen King’s fame, because franky it was rather a failure. So was Frontiere(s), a french attempt of being more brutal and disgusting than hostel. Well it kinda fits in the exact same category of being just bad. We’ll see what 2009 brings, but let’s hope for a bigger batch of nice movies in the top 5. Let the creative directors make their money!
