So now we’ll review the new Twilight … Just kidding. Kristen Stewart might be the silly high-school girl from that silly vampire-romance shit, but she did get attacked by the supernatural before a couple of times. So is the movie promising?

Starting with a bible quote – shit, that’s as scary as mid 90′s Stephen King books.
But the movie kicks in very nicely with some sort of evil terrorist plot to spill toxic gas at a basketball game. Of course the gas turns people into zombies, the kind we all know and love. Bill Moseley is as amazing as ever, the guy’s a horror genius and after Repo it’s clear that he’s still in shape. He plays an egocentric radio show host and does a great job at that. The humor is well played, doesn’t seem stupid. He reminds me a bit of Howard Stern, but maybe that was the idea.
After a bunch of funny calls, the whole thing breaks open and the zombies are running wild. So as usual, the idea for the radio crew is to survive in the station building. One of the terrorists ends up there too, to keep them happy company.

There’s seriously not much good I can say about this movie at all. The acting is as wooden as in a sitcom, the suspense is barely there, the story is not really mind engaging. And there’s not one character that’s like’able.
Given all that, after a very good first part, and a pretty funny second part (Henry Rollins rocked
) this is a disaster of the series. It seriously looks like it had a lower budget than what I have to spend for christmas gifts this year, and I’m buying keychains for everyone anyway. So yeah, avoid it at all costs, and feel lucky to have me watch it for you and warn you. This movie is definitely a wrong turn.

A good attempt at a zombie-comedy genre is a rare thing these days, so I was very pleasently surprised by this one. Shaun is a looser, living at the british suburbs, that want’s to reunite with his girlfriend and turn his life around. She dumped him because all he ever did with her was taking her to the same bar. So he decides to make it up to her … and takes her to that bar again. This time there are zombies on the streets, but seriously, at the morning rush hour most of the people look that way anyways, so he doesn’t really notice after later.
